Author Bio
I am a Pacific Northwest writer. I write dark fantasy, horror and crime fiction, specifically about Place and state-of-mind, though one can be confused for the other.
I have four publications: “Grandfather’s Shadow” in Literary Magazine Spindrift, “Consumption” and “Tale of the Dancing Girl and the Djin” in two NonBinary Review issues (respectively “Frankenstein” and “Arabian Nights”) and “Blood for Blood” (a prequel of Insomniac) in issue of Night to Dawn Magazine. I will have my story "the Witch at the Pass Where the Moon Hangs Low" published in an upcoming issue of Supernatural Tales Magazine and am up for consideration for publication in Nox Pariedolia and Flametree's After Dark anthology , “The Witch at the Pass Where the Moon Hangs Low” in of British magazine Super Natural Tales 2020 and a story "Transference" out in the Autumn 2020 issue of Corpus Press's Fear the Future anthology (alongside a story by Penn Jilette of Penn and Teller who wrote for Black Mirror). I have recently had a story “I Know What the Moon Looks Like” published and podcast by Amazing Stories (famous for publishing such authors as Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Ursula K LeGuin and George RR Martin).
I participated in a 2017 Clarion West writer’s workshop and the 2008 Potlatch Writer’s Workshop and have earned Honorary Mention in the Richard Hugo House’s Quattro Spec Fiction contest for short story “Earthbound” and in international Screenplay competition Scriptapalooza for spec script “Supernatural: Green-eyed Monster”.
I'm a consumer of large amounts of garlic, a fervent believer that vampires roam the streets of Seattle, a city where the sun can set at four in the afternoon and the clouds roll in at Noon transforming the day into Midnight. Traveler beware!
